EaseUS CleanGenius for Windows 3.0

CleanGenius is a program designed to help you keep your computer clean, providing no useless files or errors that could load the PC memory.
The interface is nice, but it doesn’t offer you the possibility to change the main theme. Unlike other similar programs that are focused only on their functions, this software has more distinguished graphics. I appreciate the fact that it doesn’t provide only conventional buttons, but also some suggestive ones that made me understand immediately the menu structure.

The application offers you the possibility to choose between ‘Quick Scan’ and ‘Deep Scan’. The differences between these two options are the time allocated for scanning and the distinct categories of problems and errors handled. This tool allows you to find out the most important problems of your computer. The settings let you adapt some options to the characteristics of your PC. While scanning, your processor isn’t fully loaded, but for cleaning up your system, it will use almost all your resources. Also, the processor uses 80% of its capacity for disk defragmentation.

What’s more, this application provides a series of smart functions. So, by using the ‘Startup Manager’ you can set the programs to be launched when starting the operating system. You have the possibility to apply for the ‘Backup Driver’ option in case you want to update the driver and the system may not function well, or you can do a ‘Restore Point’ as well. It was interesting to find the ability of encrypting files using a password. Moreover, if you want to remove programs, the uninstall option is also present.

CleanGenius is a multifunctional app and I recommend it for those who want to keep their computers in good conditions. I wasn't able to test it at its entire capacity because I worked on the program's free version. Since I didn't encounter any errors during the time I used it, I'm pretty sure that the full edition, with all its additional features, is also reliable.
